DEFENSE
The Elks will be physical and fast on the defensive side, working to get to the ball and keeping the offense from hitting the big plays. Up front, defensive ends Collin Church (5-11, 225, Sr.) and Tugger McQuistion (6-2, 225, Jr.) will look to wreak havoc on their opponents and disrupt their plans. Catch Geno (6-1, 210, Sr.) is going to be at linebacker, where he will have to have his head on a swivel watching for both the run or pass. In the secondary, defensive backs Slade Josey (5-11, 155, Sr.) and Jerimiah Jackson (6-3, 175, Jr.) are ready to defend against the deep passes that the offense goes for. Assistant coaches for Elk City this season are Johnny Easttom, Zack Josey, Dalton Cooper, Andy Peffer, Shayne Thornton, and Shylar Thornton.
